pretty but challenging to use
These made my baked goods look really nice for the holidays, but they were a bit difficult to work with. The stars are tiny, and I mean tiny! The container is simply an open top small diameter vial. In order to get the product spread (somewhat) evenly onto the baked good, I had to tap them out with a fingernail while moving the vial along the baked good. I considered trying to use a tweezer (!), but that would have taken until summer of 2012, so went with the "tap" method. I admit, I can be a bit too AR, so threw symmetry out the window and went for the "scattered" look. Everyone loved the effect, though. Makes your product look really special, especially for the holidays. There are jimmies and sprinkles everywhere, but these add just a bit of extra to things.

The best edible glitter
I bought two types of edible glitter to decorate a plain cake. This one was by far the most stunning. The other silver went on grey (not that appetizing) whereas this one had tonnes of sparkle and really made a statement. Highly recommended. Nice fast delivery too.

NOT Edible
The glitter itself is very beautiful, however I wanted to clarify for all future buyers that it is NOT edible as seems to be implied many places. Note the disclaimer they have included in the product description. The label on the package (which is covered up by an inventory label that has to be very carefully removed to be read!) clears says it's "For Decorative Arts and Crafts" and an in-depth google search will reveal that this product SHOULD NOT BE eaten. So basically it's very, very expensive glitter.

beautiful sparkles
I loved this product.. I crushed up a bunch between my fingers and put it in my homemade buttercream frosting and they came out beautiful! I took a star away because you have to use a lot to get it to show because if you just sprinkle it on top they look like flakes and not sparkles even when you crush them.
